Why do they turn on Superman?
It's really kind of odd--
Like when young Jimmy Olsen here
Joined this mean biker squad--
And Hal should learn it's not the thing
To want your pal to die--
When he finds his place in the Justice League's
Gone to a guy named Guy.
What makes them fight the Man of Steel?
These two should be best pals--
Diana Prince should know this guy
Does not like hitting gals.
And in the swamp this wrestling match
You know just can't end well--
Cuz Swamp Thing's gonna soon be slapped
Like Arcane, down to hell.
Why would this girl fight Superman?
Does she not realise
A guy like him will never strike
A girl who's half his size?
Ali might float like a butterfly
And sting just like a bee,
But in the ring 'gainst Superman
He'll get squashed like a flea.
Why do they challenge Superman
To pointless races, eh?
You'd think by now The Flash would know
He'll never win this way.
And rocks and stones may break most bones
But this man's made of steel--
And why's the Hulk on DC soil?
Has Stan Lee done a deal?
Why do they fight against Superman?
Like this guy Booster Gold--
When Supes fights back, he'll change your name
To Booster Knocked-Out Cold.
Oh look! Now Spidey's turned up too--
To make friends? Sorry no--
Cuz fighting Supes is the name of the game
And all must have their go.
Yes, all these guys keep coming back
With challenges so vain--
And who d'you think is worst of all?
--That crazy ass-wipe Wayne.
Yes, even when he's past his prime
The Dark Knight goes too far--
Why do they turn on Superman?
